KTH’s logotype
The KTH logotype embodies our identity and was redesigned in connection with the new graphical profile in 2003. The KTH logotype is to be unique to KTH. The logotype is a registered trademark with the Swedish Patent and Registration Office.
The logotype is protected and may not be changed or manipulated. It is thus not allowed to re-create an original, manipulate an existing original or make additions or changes to the mark. Additional text may not be placed below the mark.
The logotype may not be used in any context that is not approved by KTH.
The President decides on how the KTH logotype may be used. The Communications Department is responsible for the development and enforcement of the graphical profile and can give advice on its application.
Who may use the KTH logotype?
The logotype may be used by the faculty, the University Administration and by companies belonging to KTH. The logotype is owned by KTH and may be used to indicate KTH as the sender (e.g., on printed materials) or as the proprietor (of e.g., premises).
All employees are entitled to use the logotype in their work. However, it is not necessary for the logotype to appear in all internal communication at KTH.
Students are not entitled to use the KTH logotype other than on degree projects and doctoral theses. For this purpose, special templates are to be used.
Use of the logotype in connection with sponsorship requires authorization from the Head of Corporate Communications, as does use of the logotype together with other logotypes.
Contact grafiskprofil@kth.se if you have questions about the logotype.
