Transparency and AI: Ethical problems and practical solutions
Artificial intelligence (AI) has a great impact on our lives and this becomes increasingly more so. In recent years there has been an increasing critique towards the use of AI. A range of problematic features has been raised, such as that AIs being unfairly biased and not precise enough. These matters could potentially be solved by increased transparency.
The aim of this workshop is to discuss matters of transparency, for instance what sorts of demands with regards to transparency should be put on AIs? Answering this question can lead to discussions on whether transparency is enough, what sort of transparency we should aim for and if this form of transparency can be achieved.
The workshop is free and open for all. Please note that spaces are limited and registration required.
