In order to promote young scientists early in their careers, SciLifeLab and AAAS/Science magazine have joined forces in creating the Science & SciLifeLab Prize for Young Scientists.
The Prize is awarded annually to four recent PhD graduates for outstanding life science research. Don’t miss this scientific symposium where you will meet the winners and hear about their award-winning research in the following categories:
• Cell and Molecular Biology
• Genomics, Proteomics and Systems Biology
• Ecology and Environment
• Molecular Medicine
At this year’s symposium, Roads to Research Excellence, the winner presentations are accompanied by Lou Woodley (Center for Scientific Collaboration and Community Engagement) who will share her thoughts on community-building within science in her keynote presentation "Strong community, strong science - towards a community-led vision of science”. There will also be presentations of SciLifeLab Scientific Highlights.
