Introducing "Teaching and Learning UNITE!"
Hosting university: KTH
13.00 - 14.00 CET

The Spring programme kicks off with an introductory webinar presented by TF5 leader Katrina Nordström together with the Teaching and Learning UNITE! coordinators Annette Glathe and Arnold Pears. This seminar presents an overview of the concept, and Prof Pears presents a short overview of Engineering Education 2.0, what it takes to prepare graduates for Industry 4.0.

After attending the webinar a participant will:
● Have an awareness of the Teaching and Learning UNITE! content and goals
● Have an increased overview of research based innovation in Engineering Education.

This seminar summarises trends underpinning our development of an understanding of the changing nature of engineering education, and the concomitant instructional design implications. The audience is invited to explore new teaching approaches, and techniques that enhance teaching practice, through the lenses of Boyer’s scholarships and in the light of emerging trends. The seminar is intended to provoke discussion on the nature of a possible Engineering Education 2.0, what might it be, and how might it be realised in practice?

Target group:
Instructors, students, UNITE! participants of all task forces and all employees of partners.
