Music in Disorder - An Artistic Research Project on Collective Improvisation
Guest lecturer: Klas Nevrin
Associate professor in Improvisation at Department of Jazz, KMH Royal College of Music
This seminar presents the methodology and results of Music in Disorder (2016-2018, Vetenskapsrådet).
The ambition was to explore collective improvisation in music, thereby contributing to a deeper understanding of collective creativity. The results of the project include a set of methods that serve as enabling constraints for interweaving heterogeneity, and that strengthen processes of collective creativity in and through self-organization.
