First and Second Cycle Education Committee
The Faculty Board’s First and Second Cycle Education Committee consists of three of the Board’s teacher members and the Board’s student representative. Where necessary, other members and individuals may also be co-opted. The Faculty Board appoints the committee’s chair and members for a term of one year.
About the First and Second Cycle Education Committee
The committee meets prior to each Faculty Board meeting or as required. The committee’s role is to provide the Faculty Board with recommendations regarding decisions to establish or discontinue courses, decisions on study programmes at first and second cycle level, and decisions to adopt or cancel course syllabuses in accordance with KTH’s delegation regulations. The Committee is also responsible for preparing the Faculty Board’s deliberations on other matters relating to first and second cycle education. The Committee cannot make decisions on behalf of the Faculty Board.
