Divisions to move from the Department of Transport Science

From 1 January 2018, the two divisions from the Department of Transport Science will be placed at other departments within the school.

Deputy Head of School has decides to move the Division of Transport Planning, Economics and Engineering (AHB) to the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering, and to move the Division of Systems Analysis and Economics (AHD) to the Department of Urban Planning and Environment.

The division of Transport Planning, Economics and Engineering (AFP) will be established at the department of Civil and Architectural Engineering. At the Department of Urban Planning and Environment, the division of Systems Analysis and Economics (AGI) will be established.

The re-organisation will be completed by the end of the year 2017, with the new organisation in place from 1 January 2018.

The organisational move cover each division in its entirety; including staff, projects, courses, examiners, inventory, government capital and other belongings to each division. Separate decisions will be made regarding courses, examiners, staff, etc.

As part of this re-organisation, the Department of Transport Science will cease to be an organisational unit. The department's activities will continue within the divisions. There are no redunancies.
