The President has established principles and criteria for the management of research infrastructure at KTH. Decision HS-2025-3016 emphasises that research infrastructures are a key strategic resource for enabling world-class research and education, and that they must be managed with a long-term perspective, in a coordinated and sustainable way. In order to establish a comprehensive basis for the School's continued work on research infrastructure, there is a need to review existing infrastructures, their financial circumstances, development needs and opportunities for increased coordination and accessibility.
