For PhD students only - Workshop on gender-based violence

KTH and Chalmers are inviting all doctoral students at both universities to a digital workshop about Sweden’s national study on sexual harassment in academia with a focus on the study results for doctoral students as a group. The study results show that doctoral students are more exposed to sexual harassment than other groups at universities in Sweden.

Time: Mon 2022-11-07 13.00 - 16.00

Location: Zoom

The report for the national study on sexual harassment in academia can be found here: ki.se/en/gender-programme  and will be completely translated into English in the coming weeks. (A summary of the study in English is already available at the above link).

The workshop will include a presentation of the national study results as well as a presentation of the specific results for KTH’s and Chalmers’ doctoral students. We’ll also have group discussions in breakout rooms, focusing on the qualitative dimension of the results. The purpose of these discussions is to share knowledge about the context and situations in which sexual harassment might take place in order to take proactive measures.

We hope you’ll participate in the workshop!
