We are happy to welcome Mariam Claeson to give a talk with the following abstract:

In this session we will discuss some of the "big wins" in global health in recent decades. Dr Mariam Claeson, public health specialist, who has worked in international health for over thirty years will share her experiences from major breakthroughs in public health, specifically in maternal, newborn and child health, on crossing multi-sector borders and working transdisciplinary in support of country efforts to reach impact at scale and leaving nobody behind.
She will share technical and programmatic innovations she has encountered that have made a major difference to individuals, families and communities across income levels. By examining the elements of success and failure, a lot can be learnt for today’s researchers who are interested in innovating, building better and achieving results where it matters the most.
