The new energy landscape

Vattenfall and KTH would like to welcome you to an inspiring workshop between Vattenfall R&D and a broad group of persons from KTH responsible for education and research. The aim is to broaden and deepen the now decade‐old collaboration within the strategic partnership between our two organizations, both when it comes to research as well as Vattenfall’s involvement in the education at KTH. You will have the opportunity to get to know different areas, create contacts, contribute with ideas and find opportunities for new research and collaborations in education. As a bit of a novelty, we aim for a meeting IRL, including something to eat and drink.

Time: Thu 2022-04-28 15.30 - 18.30

Location: KTH Campus Vallhallavägen (exact location to be decided)

Language: English

We will start with an introduction and presentations of Vattenfall´s R&D portfolios, followed by questions and discussions in smaller groups. The overarching theme for our discussions is Digitalization of the Energy Sector. Since digitalization enables large cost savings, but also opens up for new products and services towards the end customers, digitalization of the whole value chain is a clear trend for all energy companies. We will discuss both research topics and how Vattenfall to a larger degree can get involved in and support the education in all schools within KTH.

Agenda

15.30 – 15.40 Introduction  Karl Bergman, Vice President R&D Vattenfall
15.40 – 16.00 Presentation from KTH
