Is it permitted to employ a candidate with a percentage of full-time employment other than that stated in the announcement?
No. Should a candidate be employed at a percentage of full-time employment greater than that stated in the announcement, it may disadvantage other potential candidates who might have applied if, for example, it had been announced as a full-time position. The same applies to a lower percentage of employment, regardless of whether the employer and candidate are in agreement in this regard. The successful candidate may however apply for leave of absence.
