What is the European Charter for Researchers (EU Charter & Code) and "HR Excellence in Research"?

The EU Charter & Code consists of general principles and requirements that define roles, responsibilities and rights of researchers and their employers, and is a basic and common quality framework aimed at strengthening research in Europe. In May 2021, KTH joined the EU Charter & Code and was awarded the "HR Excellence in Research". This reflects KTH's commitment to continuously develop its personnel policy in line with the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.
