Vinnova are going to inform about the content and the political context of the European Green Deal Call, the EU Commission's new package of investments and financing tools, which opened in September 2020 and closes on 26 January 2021. The call for proposals is a part of Horizon 2020 and comprises a budget of approximately 1 billion euro.

Projects financed under the Green Deal Call are expected to deliver tangible and visible results relatively quickly and show how research and innovation can provide concrete solutions for the Green Deal main priorities.

This is the second information meeting that Vinnova holds about the Green Deal Call. The structure of this meeting corresponds to that held on 9 September 2020. Just as last time we will be talking about the policy content and the overall areas of the call. Since the call has now been published, there is now more detailed information about the various parts.

Vinnova therefore also invite to two subsequent, mutually equivalent, opportunities for questions and discussion.

  • Thursday, November 19, 2020, at 10.00 - 11.00
  • Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at 13.00 - 14.00

These opportunities are for you who have read basic information about the Green Deal Call and want to discuss further your questions and thoughts. You choose which of the two occasions you want to participate in, when you register.

Agenda 18 November

  • Introduction to the EU's Green Deal and the call
  • Briefly about the call's focus areas
  • Opportunity for questions
  • Next step - what support can I get?

The meeting on November 18 will be held in Swedish, as a webcast via Microsoft Teams Live Event. You will be able to ask questions in writing via a questions and answers function. The webcast will not be recorded.

Subsequent question sessions, on 19/11 and 25/11, will be held as Microsoft Teams meetings, with the opportunity to ask questions orally.
