The new system for course evaluation and course analysis was introduced in the spring semester of 2025. What does the use look like today, one year in? Do the students answer the course surveys, and do the course coordinators fill in the course analysis? We present statistics and discuss constructive ways of working with course survey results.

A year with the new system – lessons learned, statistics and future developments
The new system for course evaluation and course analysis was introduced for all courses at KTH from period 3 in the spring semester of 2025. The new system involves an automated process with a common course survey template and publication of course analysis seven weeks after the course end date. In addition, a new component was introduced with action plans for courses in need of special development.
This webinar is aimed at everyone at KTH who is interested in course development and wants to hear about how the work has gone in the first year. We will present statistics on, for example, response rate, completed course analyses and number of action plans. In addition, we will discuss meaningful ways of working with course development based on both course survey results and other sources. We will also tell you about development work that is underway to improve the system.
