In this symposium, we will present recent results from the European project
NanoVIB ( cordis.europa.eu/project/id/101017180 ), how next-generation super-resolution MINFLUX imaging can be brought into the near-IR spectral range, and how this imaging can be combined with label-free stimulated raman scattering and two-photon excitation imaging, allowing nanometer-scale localization patterns of specific proteins imaged by MINFLUX to be placed into a cellular metabolic and morphological context.
We will present how developed laser, detector and imaging technologies can be used to study mechanisms of pneumococcal virulence and invasiveness, and there will be opportunity to discuss their possible use in additional applications of large biomedical relevance.
