VR SCI FEST 2019
This is the 3rd edition of the International festival dedicated to immersive technologies in Science and Tech hosted by KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
The theme of the festival this year is <SERIOUS GAMES>…are designed for a primary purpose other than pure entertainment, in the collaboration with game industry. The "serious" adjective is generally prepended to refer to industries like healthcare, city planning, engineering, and politics. We think immersive technologies present an advanced visualization for understandings of the incredible things we know and discover what is waiting to be known.
VR_Sci Fest is FREE and OPEN to the public, so everyone is welcome to come and explore the spherical world of Science and Tech. The festival program is rich and diverse: from popular 360 films to research labs and an industrial expo.

VR Sci Expo is the meeting ground for students, researchers and industry experts. Here, industry partners, universities and startups have a chance to showcase their latest projects, exchange ideas and meet potential new clients and investors.
20 VR/AR Booths will be presented both from Academia and Industry (MIT's collaborative V-learning environment, Eye tracking technology from Tobii Pro, VARJO - human eyes resolution headset, will be presented at Volvo Cars booth, Greenmountain Data Center experience by Tieto, Artistic project about the Quantum Computer and many many more
VR Sci Talks @ KTH Biblioteket / May 10 / 10:00-16:00
VR_Talks will bring together some of the leading masterminds of immersive technologies to share their ideas and projects in which science and creativity are intertwined, leading us into new experiences, new thoughts, and new openings.
This year we will have three thematic tracks:
XR + Industry / 10:00 - 11:30 (Tobii Pro, Volvo Cars, Vobling, Tieto)
XR + Education / 11:30 - 14:00 (MIT, UCD, LTU, Sketch AR)
XR + Games / 14:00 - 15:30 (RISE, IPPD Solution, Neat Corporation, Really Interactive)
VR Sci Films @ KTH Biblioteket / May 10 / 10:00 - 16:00
A unique cinema experience with 15 synchronized VR headsets showing the best VR/360 degree films about Science and Technology. The content is supplied by, The Guardian, Google, Dagens Nyheter and other pioneering of 360/VR tech film producers. VR Sci Films will also have a collaborative track presented by Institut Français de Suède
