In this webinar we will discuss under what circumstances it is permissible to recycle one’s own work. We will look at fora where text duplication is considered acceptable, variations in norms between disciplines and aspects such as publication in different languages. We will also shed light on the question what it is that makes self-plagiarism wrongful.

The webinar will include a presentation by Gert Helgesson, Professor of Medical Ethics at the Department of learning, informatics, management and ethics (LIME), Karolinska Institutet, who will introduce the topic, followed by time for questions and discussion where all webinar participants are welcome to contribute.

Who is the event for?

Researchers from Karolinska Institutet, KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Stockholm University.

The webinar is organised within the University Alliance Stockholm Trio. You may reach the organising team via etik@fs.su.se
