New access card 2023

KTH is facing a change in technology, which means that the existing access cards will be phased out.

During the spring of 2023, all employees will have to issue another access card. This means that during a transition period, you need to use both the existing and the new access card.

The reason you need to have two access cards is that there are door handle readers that have old reading technology and can only read the existing access cards. Before it is possible to readjust all door handle readers to read the new access cards, all employees must have collected a new card.

The new access card can be issued at KTH Entré. Bring a valid identification.

Important to know

During the spring of 2023, many Ladok users will also need to upgrade assurance level of their KTH account by showing identification in KTH Entré or the Service Center in, Flemingsberg, Södertälje or Kista. If you have received an invitation to change your access card and also need to upgrade the assurance level of your KTH account, you can do both at the same time.
