Duties of the nomination committee

Prior to the election for the members of the faculty board, the nomination committee shall put forward proposals for academic members of the faculty board and indicate which of the academic members is proposed as vice-chair. Furthermore, the nomination committee shall submit proposals for external members. The nomination committee also has responsibilities in connection with the appointment of the Head of School and the Deputy Head of School.

Composition

In accordance with the Rules of Procedure at KTH (V-2019-0561), the nomination committee shall consist of a chair and four members. The chair and at least two of the members shall hold a position as professor or associate professor at KTH. Students are entitled to be represented by one member. The faculty board decides on the appointment of the chair and the other faculty members of the nomination committee for a fixed term. Anyone holding an appointment or assignment in KTH’s management or in the school’s management may not simultaneously serve on the nomination committee
