The HR department have come up with new guidelines and materials for the introduction of new co-workers at the CBH School. The aim is to save money and time for the employer and the employees alike, to improve the general well-being, and reduce the risk of new co-workers leaving CBH too quickly.

– Since we are located at four different sites we have been working in different ways. Now we will offer workshops and checklists for new co-workers and scholarship holders. Those responsible for newly recruited employees will be offered support in the form of a checklist as well, says HR administrator Erika Gren.

The workshops will be held once a month on all CBH sites. The participants will get general information about terms of employment, work environment and safety. A video about KTH’s core values and the Code of Conduct at the University will be shown, and the new co-workers will get to sign in and try the HR-systems for self-reporting.

The first workshops will be held on December 4th at Scilife in Solna and on December 11th at campus Valhallavägen. Those invited are primarily new employees who started in November and December, but some who began after the summer will be invited as well.

The first workshop for scholarship holders will be held next year.
