CBH Case for support – searching for external funding to research and education
The KTH Development Office (DO) has during the past decade helped raise over 1 billion kr (!) in funding for KTH.
The CBH Impact team is now searching for you who would be interested in raising this type of funding. Below you will find more information and how you can make your project into a “Case for support”.
The overall process:
What is typically on the mindset of donators or their representatives is that they want to invest part of their fortune in development areas that are close to their heart. A question they likely ask themselves is: “If I were to donate 1 or 30 or 80 Mkr to KTH, how would this make the world a better place?”.
The KTH development office works with a portfolio of cases that they use during meetings or in events with potential donators. The KTH Development Office is in the process of establishing a new case portfolio, a process headed by Rektor. The cases could be focused on research, but also learning environments, labs or infrastructure. Areas previously under-addressed, but potentially promising, are cross-school, multidisciplinary or education-supporting cases.
This is a request for bottom-up input for cases. Based on your information, KTH Development Office and CBH IMPACT will select the most exciting cases (note that we wrote "exciting" rather than “scientific height”) and request for further input as needed.

If you have a good case, and think that you are champion researcher worth investing in, please write us a max 1 A4 page according to this template (docx 15 kB) .
