Mikael on the recruitment of KTH's next president

Head of School Mikael Lindström writes about the recruitment of KTH's next president. The process has started and all employees are welcome to contribute.

The appointment process for a new president at KTH has now begun and all of us employees have the opportunity to contribute to the employment profile. We can make individual suggestions or contribute together with our colleagues. We will also give a collective input from CBH via our Deputy Head of School, Amelie Eriksson Karlström. Feel free to contact Amelie if you have a contribution!

The parts of the employment profile that concern personal qualities, leadership and challenges in the assignment can be shaped in line with the requirements and challenges that KTH specifically needs to consider The Nomination Committee seeks input in these parts of the profile and asks that you focus on the two areas below. 

  • What personal qualities do you think are necessary for the role of president?
  • What challenges do you envisage KTH facing that a prospective president ought to address?

In order to process all contributions, the Nomination Committee kindly requests that you use the two headings below and make your input brief and concise. No more than one A4 page. Email your input to rektorsrekrytering@kth.se  by 23/9/2021 at the latest.
