New unit will give more satisfied teachers

“We joined together because we have the same target groups and therefore there should be one place that everyone can turn to. In addition, we wanted to facilitate the collaboration between our campuses and in a similar way everywhere,” says group manager Sandhya Elise Hagelin.

CBH Service and Teacher Support will thus help with everything that Servicecenter did before, such as access cards, access to visitors, catering and events. But they will also support the teachers with everything concerning exams, results reporting, archiving of dissertations in DiVA, registration, re-registration and reporting results. The main goal is to improve accessibility on all campuses.

”We are only a few people in every place. So to enable us to support all the school's teachers, we did this,” says Per Dalhammar, Education Administration Manager (UA) at CBH.

He also hopes that the new organization will lead to an expanded dialogue, better cooperation between teachers and the administration and happy and satisfied teachers.

“We wanted to make it clear that we are here primarily for the teachers, to help them with what they need,” says Per Dalhammar.

The merger also means that the Education Office works primarily with students and Service and Teacher Support works primarily with supporting the teachers so that they can devote themselves to the main task, teaching. If you as a teacher need help, you should contact teachersupport@cbh.kth.se  while the students should contact studentsupport@cbh.kth.se .

CBH Service and Teacher Support also staffs all the CBH School's student offices on every campus (not SciLifeLab) on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12: 00-14: 00.
