Are you a research leader at CBH? Would you like to have a master student helping in your lab? CBH has received extra funding from KTH, earmarked for providing our master students with experiences from our research environments. CBH received 500 000 extra to cover salary costs for master students doing internships in our labs.

Now, we are looking for research groups that are willing to host a paid master student in their labs. The student shall work side by side with other staff in the lab. The student should not be given a project of her/his own but pitch in with duties that suits the need and prior experience.

The students will earn 150 SEK per hour, which amounts to about 380 SEK per hour including overhead costs, so the extra funds will cover about 1.300 working hours in total. The general KTH advice is not to let the students work too many hours so that it inflicts with their studies. We suggest approximately 8 hours per week on average, for at least 10 weeks but this can be negotiated.

Does this sound interesting?

Please compile the following info in one file:

  • A short description of the hosting working environment.
  • Preferred CBH-master programme/s from which the intern student could come from.
  • Examples on what the student could assist with.
  • Info about from when you will be willing to host the student.
  • Contact details to the person who will be responsible for hosting the student.

Please e-mail this information and any queries you might have to Eva Malmström , International coordinator at CBH, no later than October 25, 2021.

Depending on incoming applications from students and the interest from our research groups, we will try to match as well as possible. Please note, there is no guarantee that you will receive an intern-student, it all depends on the interest and the matchmaking.
