Regional Development and Mobility 2027
KTH Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and Region Stockholm collaborate on education, research and innovation within the core areas of Region Stockholm.
As part of Region Stockholm’s collaboration with KTH, funding is announced for research within Region Stockholm’s core areas: healthcare, transport, culture and regional planning each year. Region Stockholm intent is to contribute towards research carried out at KTH that strengthens the region’s operations. The aim is for all research to be of high scientific quality.
The current announcement covers research on sustainable transport and regional development planning.
The research funding announcement is for a total of SEK 4.8 million for the period 2027–2028. Research funding can be granted for a maximum of two years, with up to SEK 1 million per research project and year.
