Calls Region Stockholm
Since 2014, KTH and the Stockholm Region have jointly issued an annual call for research funding for projects in health and medical technology, as well as public transport and regional planning.
Health, Medicine and Technology (HMT)
The Health, Medicine and Technology (HMT) research call is part of the joint objective to strengthen the region’s healthcare services. At least one of the researchers must be employed at KTH and one by Region Stockholm. Funding may be granted for up to three years, with up to SEK 1 million per project per year.
Regional Development and Mobility 2027
The Transport and Region call covers research in sustainable transport and regional development planning. The total amount of funding available is SEK 4.8 million, and grants may be awarded for up to two years with up to SEK 1 million per research project per year.
