Researcher agreement
When participating in research projects in which KTH may grant usage rights to other project partners, each participating researcher must sign a Researcher Agreement. The project’s Principal Investigator (PI) is responsible to ensure that all participating researchers sign such an agreement.
- Researcher Agreement for the Principal Investigator – signed by the PI and the Head of School.
- Researcher Agreement for participating researcher – signed by KTH researchers participating in the project (including doctoral students and postdocs).
In brief, the Researcher Agreement means that the researcher:
- allows KTH to have right of use to the researcher’s IP so that KTH can fulfil its obligations under the project agreement
- undertakes to act in a way that enables KTH to fulfil all its obligations under the project agreement
- grants KTH the right to use the project’s research results for further non‑commercial research
- informs KTH of any dual roles or conflicts of interest related to the project
Submit the completed Researcher Agreement to the Project Management Support at your school, who will assist with obtaining the necessary signatures.
