Videoconferencing at KTH

Employees at KTH have access to meeting rooms and lecture halls with videoconferencing systems. Both employees and students are able to use Zoom for web meetings.

As many are currently using Zoom and other distance meeting tools the service may at times overload. For more information

Web meeting

All you need to attend a meeting is a web browser and internet connection. For as good an experience as possible, we recommend using a headset. KTH offers two different web meeting solutions to its employees.

Zoom

Features

Zoom works well in meetings with many participants (max 300), for example, teaching as the program has tools like shared screen, break-out rooms and chat.

Invite

To create a meeting go to kth-se.zoom.us or use the Outlook plugin.

Connect

Participants join using a web browser, Zoom client or videoconferensingsystem (H323/SIP).
