Advertisement of scholarships from ITM foundations for 2013

All applications must have been received by ITM via Gülten Baysal no later than 1 December 20 13. Mark the envelope "Stipendieansökan" [Scholarship application]. Address: KTH, Deans Office, Lindstedtsvägen 30, 100 44 Stockholm.

All applications, irrespective of which scholarship they relate to, must state the intended use of the scholarship and have an attached cost estimate.

Stiftelsen de första  M4 fond  [The First  M4 Fund] (disposable amount SEK 7,300). Ref no. M-2013-0804

The intended purpose of this fund is to award scholarships to a talented and diligent technologist within the Department of Applied Mechanical Engineering or the Department of Aeronautical and Vehicle Engineering. Priority is given to students of technology within the two highest years of study.

The scholarship is intended for a Master's level technologist active within Machine Design/Vehicle Engineering at KTH.

Stiftelsen Georg Elfving [The Georg Elfving Foundation] (disposable amount SEK 43,800). Ref no. M-2013-0803

The objective of the foundation is to award scholarships to a student of Heating and Sanitation Technology, through distinguished academic achievements and exhibited diligence and honourable conduct.

Stiftelsen A H Göransson [The  A H Göransson Foundation] (disposable amount SEK 36,400). Ref no. M-2013-0806

The objective of the foundation is to award scholarships to Swedish citizens who, following completion of studies at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering or other form of appropriate qualification, carry out academic research that may have significance for the production and refinement of Swedish iron and steel.

The application must clearly state the intended use of the scholarship, and include a grade report, a supervisor recommendation and a cost estimate.

Yngströms Stiftelse [The Yngström Foundation] (disposable amount SEK 52,900). Ref no. M-2013-0805

The purpose of this fund is to award a scholarship to a Swedish citizen with a Master of Science Materials Design and Engineering who wishes to conduct independent research and studies.

The scholarship is intended for a Swedish Civil Engineer within the field of Materials Design who intends to complete a doctorate/licentiate degree, or for a research project. Applicants from the field of Metallurgy will be given priority. The application must clearly state the intended use of the scholarship, and include a grade report, a supervisor recommendation and a cost estimate.
