Workshops on gender equality, inclusion and equal opportunities
During the 2025–2026 academic year, SCI is organising workshops on gender equality, inclusion and equal opportunities for different groups at the School. This is part of the School’s work on JML.
In autumn 2025, four mandatory workshops were held for doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers. The aim was to gather experiences, identify areas for development, and highlight measures that can contribute to a better working and study environment.
In spring 2026, mandatory workshops will be held for faculty. These workshops are organised by the departments and build on the issues and needs identified in the workshops for doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers. The aim is to create a shared sense of responsibility and to agree on concrete measures and approaches.

The workshops will be followed up and evaluated at a later stage. Doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers have also clearly expressed a wish for this type of workshop to be offered on a recurring basis.
