Stockholm PhD Student Dialogue on Sustainability, October 24th This year’s Stockholm PhD Student on Sustainability dialogue will be hosted by Karolinska Institute the 24th of October. The dialogue gathers PhD-students from the Stockholm region to discuss sustainable development as a means to increase and strengthen research collaboration across disciplinary and institutional boundaries.
Upcoming SEI-KTH events October 9th, Thinking Ahead with SEI and KTH: “Using the Nexus to achieve sustainability in the 21st century”. Join researchers from SEI and KTH to discuss how science can inform policy for sustainability. The analysis of individual nexus components (such as climate, energy, water and food) routinely uses modelling tools. Developing integrated tools which link the nexus components can enhance our knowledge about these systems and in turn help policy makers assess different development strategies.

Welcome to KTH Energy Dialogue 2014 – Funding Strategies for Energy Research and Innovation in Sweden and Europe The Energy Dialogue is on 20 November 2014. The Energy Dialogue is a forum to discuss challenges, possibilities and new research in the energy sector. This year funds will be awarded for best PhD pitch, ABB is sponsoring the best Poster Award and Vattenfalls Energy Award will go to the best MSc thesis projects in the energy field.

Seminarium om Formas utlysning Hållbart samhällsbyggande Den 5 november bjuder Formas och IQ Samhällsbyggnad tillsammans med Bygginnovationen in till seminarium om forskning och utveckling inom samhällsbyggande. Under seminariet presenteras Formas nya utlysning om hållbart samhällsbyggande och forskningsbehovet inom samhällsbyggandsområdet diskuteras.
