KTH-Sustainability Education Day, May 12
How can we integrate environment and sustainable development in education? KTH-Sustainability invites you to share your experiences and ideas for sustainability teaching and learning in higher education on May 12 at 13:00-17:00 (following mingle and poster session). More information and registration here.

Deadline April 28: Funding opportunity, Environment and sustainability without boundaries!
Apply now for funding from KTH-Sustainability to enhance transdisciplinary collaborations in environment and sustainable development at KTH. Funding of maximum SEK 100 000 per project is available and will be disbursed during 2015. Call information and application template can be found here.

48 million kronor earmarked for sustainability research at KTH
KTH Royal Institute of Technology is offering 13 international researchers positions as assistant professors spanning a broad area, from mathematics to sustainable urban development. New Associate Professors will receive a four-year startup grant and more permanent base funding if they qualify as Associate Professors. The funding for each position makes it possible for recruits to establish a stable economic- and research-based platform.

Four positions are directly connected to sustainability although other positions may be developed within the field. "It will be up to those who come in to shape the profile that each research area should have," President Peter Gudmundson says.

For more information about this recruitment initiative, see the following web page.

Open Discussion: KTH’s Environmental Objectives, June 3
Save the Date. On June 3, 9:00-11:00 an open discussion about KTH’s environmental objectives will be held. The current objectives were established for the period of 2013-15. The process for establishing new overall environmental objectives for KTH will begin this spring. These objectives will guide our environmental work over a five year period, 2016-2021. Program and location will be posted soon at: www.kth.se/om/miljo-hallbar-utveckling/event-semiarier
