Extern miljörevision, 8-9 april
Under april genomförs den årliga extern miljörevision på alla skolor, GVS och KTH centralt. Syftet med revisionen är att ge en bild av hur miljöledningssystemet är integrerat i verksamheten och hur miljöprestandan har förbättrats.

Ta plats i samhällsdebatten, 10 maj
Dags att ta plats i samhällsdebatten? Vaska fram guldkornen i din forskning och skapa ett budskap som tränger igenom bruset. Under förmiddagen den 10 maj kommer du att få verktygen för en media-budskapsträning som mynnar ut i att vässa din förmåga att kommunicera och medialt delta i samhällsutvecklingen utifrån din forskning. Vi söker 10 kvinnor som vill lyfta sin forskning inom miljö- och hållbar utveckling. Vill du vara med?

Call: Environment and sustainability without boundaries
Apply now for funding to enhance transdisciplinary collaborations in environment and sustainable development (ESD) at KTH. KTH Sustainability Office is looking for project applications that support multidisciplinary collaborations within KTH with relevance to environment and sustainable development. Funding of maximum SEK 100 000 per project is available and will be disbursed during 2019.

Four changemakers for sustainable fashion
The challenges facing our society today are vast. Meet four people who are leading the way to a more sustainable world, starting with something that affects us all: the fashion industry. KTH students, researchers and employees are invited to a lunch seminar with KTH Innovation. Time: 4 April, 12.00-13.00. Place: KTH Entré.

Transparency and AI
Artificial intelligence (AI) has a great impact on our lives and this becomes increasingly more so. A range of problematic features has been raised, such as that AIs being unfairly biased and not precise enough. These matters could potentially be solved by increased transparency. The aim of this workshop is to discuss matters of transparency, for instance what sorts of demands with regards to transparency should be put on AIs? Time: 9 May, 09.00-16.00. Place: Conference room #1414, 4th floor, Teknikringen 74D, KTH.

The European railway system of 2050: What is needed and how can Shift2Rail contribute?
The spring seminar of the KTH Railway Group will look towards Europe this year. Presentations include the two largest European train operators as well as two major rolling stock suppliers. Examples from both passenger and freight transport will be given. After the presentations there will be time for discussion with all presenters, first in a panel discussion and then during mingle. Date: 22 May, 13.00-17.00. Place: KTH room Q1, Malvinas väg 4.
