External Environmental Audit 20-21 April
KTH is certified according to the international standard ISO 14001: 2015 for environmental management systems. In accordance to ISO 15001, the annual external audit will be conducted by the external auditors from Qvalify the 20-21 April. The auditors will be assessing and following up on the maintenance and development of KTH's environmental management system and progress on achieving our sustainability objectives. All schools and the GVS are included in the external audit.

Hack the Crisis 3-6 April
KTH går med som partner i Hack the Crisis, ett hackathon för där vi tillsammans kan hitta nya lösningar på samhällets utmaningar till följd av Covid-19. Hack the Crisis anordnas av DIGG, Myndigheten för digital förvaltning på uppdrag av regeringen. Hacket äger rum den 3-6 april, 2020. Mer information om Hack the crisis here.

KTH's report to the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency 

Each year KTH reports a variety of indicators pertaining to our work with sustainability to The Swedish Environmental Protection Agency. This year we have both positive and negative indicators to report. In many areas we are moving forward while in other areas we are going in the wrong direction. KTH's Climate objectives and measures 2020-2045

KTH has developed climate objectives and measures for 2020-2045. The ambition is for KTH to combat climate change and support a sustainable transition in line with society's national and international commitments such as the Paris Agreement, Agenda 2030, Sweden's Energy and Climate targets. 

The climate objectives and measures will directly affect KTH's employees and students, as well as KTH's property owners, business partners, financiers and other external partners where so is relevant.

Call: Environment and sustainability without boundaries

Apply now for funding to enhance transdisciplinary collaborations in environment and sustainable development (ESD) at KTH. KTH Sustainability Office is looking for project applications that support multidisciplinary collaborations within KTH with relevance to environment and sustainable development. Funding of maximum SEK 100 000 per project is available and will be disbursed during 2020. Learn more about the call here.

  Call for education projects 2020 in gender equality and sustainable development
We now welcome suggestions from schools for such educational initiatives. We believe that the program analyses and school reports that are linked to the quality system identify many development needs. Through these investments, there is now an opportunity to finance relevant projects to some extent. Learn more about the call here.
