Horizon Europe Info days 2021, 28 June-9 July The 10-day event will give prospective applicants and other stakeholders of EU research and innovation the opportunity to get information and ask questions about main funding instruments, processes of Horizon Europe and what is new. The Horizon Europe info days will address nine themes, each featuring a programme of exclusive discussions and hands-on sessions dedicated to a different cluster or part of the new programme.

Sustainability at KTH - Trash Talks, 20 aug The focus of this years Sustainability at KTH event is waste management. Take the opportunity to recycle what no longer gives you joy at Stockholm Vatten and Avfall's Pop-up ReUse Container August 20th. You can also participate in The Trash talks webinars, learn how to get involved in student projects. In collaboration with KTH Innovation, Akademiska Hus, Stockholm Vatten och Avfall, and KTH Students for Sustainability.
Time: Fri 2021-08-20 kl 10.00 - 14.00

Uppföljning KTH:s hållbarhetsmål för utbildning målperioden 2016-2020
Nu har en utvärdering av måluppfyllelse för KTH:s hållbarhetsmål för utbildning 2016-2020 gjorts. Result har samlats i en rapport. Underlag för rapporten har utgjorts av programanalyser, skolrapporter, utbildnings- och kursplaner samt samtal med programansvariga. New Carpool at CBH CBH School now has a carpool with five of Toyota's latest hydrogen cars. With the help of Professor Göran Lindberg, the CBH School began a discussion with Toyota in the spring, about the possibility of setting up some pool cars that run on hydrogen... Learn more here
FORMAS: Urgent call for proposals 2021 – Ensuring the future availability of data or research materials
The urgent need to ensure access to research data must be based on a phenomenon or sudden situation that could not be predicted. The data should show great promise to lead to significant scientific results and real-world impact.
Open access to research data helps to accelerate research by giving more researchers the opportunity to use and build on the material. In this urgent call, the availability of the research data produced in the projects is vital.

KTH på Färgfabriken NATURE @ Färgfabriken KTHs forskningsprojekt NATURE är en del av utställningen Symbiosis. Projektet undersöker förhållanden mellan natur och samhälle genom stadsinfrastruktur med fokus på vatten. Begrepp som överflöd, beroende, kontroll, natur, läckage, symbios/parasit, sönderfall och teknosfär används som avstamp i projektet där man samlar ny kunskap kring vattenförsörjning och de system vi människor bygger in oss i. Direktiv och känslor om koldioxidutsläpp - En bubbla mot yttervärlden EU har ett system för handel med utsläpp av koldioxid, EU ETS. Det skapar en symbios mellan verksamheter inom EU. Vi ser det som en kupa. Innanför kupan delas ett begränsat antal utsläppsrätter ut varje år, och antalet minskar snabbt med tiden. Det är ett starkt politiskt styrmedel. En expert har kallat det för ett system som kombinerar extrem marknadslogik med totalitär socialism. Systemet väcker alltså känslor, även bland dem som kan det väl.”
Genom samtal, skisser och 3D animationer undersöker Mattias Höjer (professor vid KTH) och Jens Evaldsson (konstnär) EU ETS från ett konstnärligt perspektiv. Till detta har Ebba Landen Helmbold från LABLAB utvecklat den GIS-baserade grafiken. Läs mer här |
