Climate objectives and measures

KTH has developed overall climate objectives and measures for 2020-2045

The KTH Royal Institute of Technology shall be a leading university of technology within sustainable development and shall contribute to achieving the UN’s Global Goals for Sustainable Development. This involves being a leader in climate transformation by combating climate change and shifting to a more sustainable society in agreement with national and international commitments as a minimum. This includes education, research and collaboration, as well as our own climate impact.

In this document, KTH has decided on overall objectives and measures to implement the committment made to the Climate Framework for univerities and colleges in Sweden and to work in line with the associated guidelines. This follows international and national agreements and commitments.

All of the objectives that apply to 2020 are part of KTH's exisiting sustainability objectives for the period 2016-2020.
