How can one give a course with lectures, and similar synchronous teaching occasions, that are planned to have some students on campus while others will participate online? A presentation of how KTH's teaching facilities, with equipment, can be used in combination with the Zoom meeting tool.

Designing teaching videos and video technology for online teaching (sv)

Learn how to enhance the learning experience in your digital teaching situations, synchronously and asynchronously, with these two videos focusing on the design of teaching videos and recording tools. Learn to enhance the students' experience by reaching out in an inspiring way through the screen. A media technician from KTH share his experiences of filming teachers, and staff at IT support show examples of efficient use of technology in two leture halls. You will also receive tips on which elements are perceived as engaging from a student perspective.

What makes an educational video good, and why should you continue to use online videos after we can safely return to personal meetings, when the pandemic is over? Joakim Jaldén shares his thoughts on the video format for teaching and learning at KTH. This video will focus on the why rather than the how when it comes to video.

Video editing basics, using Camtasia

A presentation of the basics of video editing and how to practically apply that when working with the screenrecording and editing software Camtasia. We also look at the options to do simple video editing using Kaltura. The purpose is to give some insights of the possibilities in video editing, to give insight into editing methods and to show some of the central editing tools used in Camtasia.
