FAQ KTH Import Exams

KTH Import Exams imports scanned exams to Canvas. Here are some frequently asked questions about how the function is handled.

Do I need to prepare something to use KTH Import Exams?

(Last reviewed March 8, 2022)

You need to ensure that your exam administration knows that you will assess digitally. Otherwise, you do not need to do anything, the function is installed in your examination room.

Why can't I import the exams directly into the regular course room?

(Last reviewed March 8, 2022)

The examination room must be used because the student groups are different. The students who are registered for the exam are not necessarily registered on the current course offering and do not have access to the course room. Not all students who are registered on the course register for the exam and should not be able to take the exam. All registered students on an activity will have access to the examination room after the registration period has closed.

One of the imported exams has not been properly scanned. What am I supposed to do?

(Last reviewed March 8, 2022)

Contact your exam administration and ask them to scan the exams again.

Do I have to fill in the scanned cover page on the students' exams?

(Last reviewed March 8, 2022)

No, the cover page doesn't need to be filled in if you don't want to. Use the cover page if it makes it easier to compile the results of the assessment.

Is it possible to get the scanned exams divided question by question?

(Last reviewed March 8, 2022)

It is not possible to divide the scanned exams in this way as it requires a lot of manual work.
