Erasmus+ is the new EU programme for international cooperation in education, replacing former EU programmes including Erasmus Mundus, LLP and TEMPUS. The programme consists of a number of actions, where KTH can seek funding for various forms of international activities in higher education.

Erasmus+ Capacity Building support the developing of joint projects to develop new courses, curricula, education centras, higher education administration or national education reforms, and contribute to the modernisation of higher education and democratic development in partner countries.

Mobility of Individuals

Erasmus+ Mobility of Individuals enables staff to teach or train, and for students to study and/or practice, at a partner university, another university or company/organization in another European country, in some cases even outside Europe.

Strategic Partnerships

Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships fund projects enhancing the quality and innovativeness of learning and teaching, developing new curricula, building bridges between the different sectors of education and fostering more intense forms of cooperation to achieve the modernisation objectives, including a better exploitation of open education resources.

Support for preparatory overseas visits

Representatives from KTH can receive support for travel and subsistence expenses when visiting overseas partners in order to plan for application to the Erasmus+ pogrammes that enables cooperation with the so-called partner countries; Erasmus+ Capacity Building, Joint Master Degrees and non-European Mobility of Individuals. Applications for financial support are made continuously through UHR.
