Instructions for contribution submission KTH SoTL 2023

You can find instructions about the contribution process including important dates and deadlines, guidelines for contributions and session formats together with the review criteria below.

The guidelines for the different formats can be found below.

Review and notification of results

The KTH SoTL team makes the final decision based on the reviewers' assessment and recommendations. When the contributions have been reviewed, the authors will receive an email notifying if the contribution has been accepted or rejected, including comments from the reviewers. Each contribution will be reviewed by two members of faculty at KTH according to the criteria below (double-blind process). When the decsion is made, there will be no opportunity to make changes in the contribution.

The comments from the reviewers are intended to help the authors to create the best possible session and to give the author feedback on writing pedagogical and educational contributions.

Full papers are not required for this conference. The contribution will be published on KTH SoTL website.

Proposals will be considered according to the following criteria

The proposal describes what has been done/is planned in an exemplary fashion.

The contribution describes what has been done/is planned in an acceptable way.

It is not possible to deduce what has been done/is planned from the contribution

B) Innovation/inspirational

The work described in the contribution seems to be highly innovative/inspirational in the context of higher education at KTH

The work described in the contribution seems to be somewhat innovative/ inspirational in the context of higher education at KTH.

The work described in the contribution does not seem to be innovative/inspirational in the context of higher education at KTH.

C) Theory, models, framework, reflective practice

The work described in the contribution seems to be strongly linked to theory/models/frameworks/ reflective practice.

The work described in the contribution seems to be somewhat linked to theory/models/frameworks/ reflective practice.

The results/lessons learned are not clearly described.

D) Results, lessons learned

The results/lessons learned are described in an exemplary fashion

The results/lessons learned are described in an acceptable fashion.

The results/lessons learned are not clearly described.

E) Language, structure, clarity

The contribution is very clear and well-structured with exemplary use of language.

The contribution contains acceptable language, structure and clarity.

The contribution lacks structure and clarity and has poor use of language.

Online or in person?

It is possible to present your contribution in person at KTH Valhallavägen or virtually. Presentations made online will be available to all conference participants. The contributions presented in person will be available mainly to participants who are physically present. Some of the contributions presented on-site will be available to participants who are online.

  • Program presented - 2 February
  • Registration deadline - 6 March
  • SoTL 2023 conference day - 7 March

There are no possibilities to make changes in the abstracts after submission.
