Call for abstract

  • Call for abstract: Opens on September 26th 
  • Deadline for submission of abstract: (December 1st) - extended to Dec15 - CLOSED
  • End of review process: January 19th 
  • Feedback to the authors: January 23rd
  • Optional: Full paper February 12th. Full papers will be published on the conference website.

Session formats available

The diversity of formats is designed to create a creative atmosphere and to allow and show different presentation styles. We have decided not to allow a contribution based on oral presentation only.

1, Poster - share your experience

Poster where readers can follow your idea / your good example and also get inspiration on how to use it in their own work. You will print your own poster.

2, Round table - share your experience 

3 contributors within a similar theme will share 1 hour discussion on possible ways forward. The discussions will be lead by a pedagogical leader and each contributor will introduce his or her idea for 5 minutes. 

3 Work in progress and/or Research paper

30 minutes of Educational dialogue with focus on how to proceed. Interactive activities, where listeners contribution to the conversation is as important as your own presentation. If you have a research paper, the paper doesn’t have to be finished. Introduction by the presenter will be made during 10 minutes. 

4, Workshop
45 minutes of workshop. The workshop are expected to involve active participation from attendees and there should be significant time for questions and discussions.

  1. Abstract of 300-400 words incl. references
  2. Specify up to 3 keywords
  3. Specify session format

E-learning, Generic skills, Teaching and learning in subject perspective, Course development, Examination, Student learning, Diversity/JML (Jämlikhet, mångfald och lika behandling), Work related learning, First year experience, Thesis, Pedagogical/Teaching tools, Sustainable development. 

Consideration for proposals will be based on the following criteria 

Relevance to the conference aims and themes.

What theories/methods/frameworks/models are you using, and why?

Reflective Critique and usefulness 
What kind of critical/reflective evaluation you offer in your work.
Generalizability and usefulness to conference attendees.

Audience Engagement (not for posters)
What kind of opportunities you plan for active audience engagement throughout your session.
Potential to stimulate discussion.
