KTH-Sustainability is looking for a project manager
The position is full time, but depending on the interest of the applicants, it may also be split between two persons. Please see the . 

Environment and sustainability on the cross!
Now you can apply for funds to increase the cross-disciplinary linkages within environment and sustainable development at KTH. Examples of activities that you can apply for funding for are:
- Bring an assistant supervisor with complementary skills for a doctoral student.
- Develop a new course with the expertise of several departments.
- Arrange a conference or seminar series with an interdisciplinary theme.
- Start a school-wide network or conduct activities in an existing network.
No later than August 31, 2012, we want your application sent to sustainability@kth.se written in a specific template. .

New project communicator welcomes tips and ideas
As of June 2012, Malin Picha is part-time employed in KTH-Sustainability in order to strengthen the external communication of environmental and sustainability related projects at KTH. Malin has a background of being an editor at various Swedish newspapers and magazines, and also worked at the information office of Linköping University in the mid-1990's. The past six years, she has been working as a project manager at the Swedish Media Publishers' Assocation and is now finishing her licentiate thesis in media technology with a sustainability angle, at MID - Dept of media technology and interaction design, at the CSC-school.
Malin is happy for all kinds of tips and ideas for articles and press releases about environmental and sustainability related research projects at KTH. Please contact her at: picha@kth.se .

KTH Exjobb portal
KTH has recently launched its own portal for degree project advertisements. The portal is to be used by both companies and institutions/departments within KTH to advertise their degree projects, other student assignments, and trainee or extra jobs. Every project is tagged by subject, for example “Energy and environment”, “Sustainable development” or “Environmental technology”. Right now, the portal includes 140 ads. KTH Exjobb portal

KTH-Professor writes official document on sustainable energy for the Rio-summit
Mark Howells, Professor in Energy Systems Analysis is the lead author on one of the background documents published by the United Nations in connection to the Conference on Sustainable Development Rio+20, 20-22 June 2012. Read the document
