Akademiska Hus kick-starts energy saving projects at KTH Campus
Akademiska Hus is investing 33 million kronor in a heat pump system that will produce heating and cooling. According to calculations this system could lead to energy savings and cost reductions for KTH Campus equivalent to up to 23,700 megawatt hours, or heating 1,000 homes. Installation of the new heating pumps and connecting the cooling systems on campus will allow KTH to produce heating and cooling at a lower cost compared to district heating and cooling.
