Amelie on the royal couple's visit
Head of School Amelie Eriksson Karlström writes about Monday's Danish royal visit to KTH.
This week, the Danish royal couple have been on a state visit to Sweden and as part of the programme they visited KTH on Monday, together with the Swedish royal couple. KTH had arranged a space-themed programme, in which Swedish astronauts Christer Fuglesang and Marcus Wandt and Danish astronaut Andreas Mogensen took part. It was a nice panel discussion in KTHB, where the astronauts talked about their experiences in space and discussed space research and sustainable technology development.
After the Scandinavian astronauts, the royal guests visited an exhibition where some KTH start-ups with a sustainability focus presented their companies. Several of them came from the CBH School, which we can be extra proud of! It was great that KTH was able to host part of the Danish state visit and that, in addition to the conversation with the astronauts, we had the opportunity to showcase several innovative companies based on our exciting research.
