New antispam and antivirus filter for email

To improve protection against malicious e-mail sent to our KTH e-mail addresses, we have recently activated a new antispam and antivirus filter from Halon, which is supplied by Sunet.

Sometimes it will take some time for such a filter to learn to distinguish between malicious and non-malicious e-mail, and it may happen on rare occasions that non-malicious e-mails get stuck in the filter.

If you notice that you have not received e-mail that you know has been sent to you, please Contact KTH IT-Support  with information about the e-mail address from which the sender has sent his e-mail, and we will help to get emails delivered to you and that they further on will not get stuck in the filter.
