Forced update of Slack applications and web browsers

As of 1/3 2024 the following versions of Slack or web browser need to be updated in order for Slack to work.

  • Slack desktop app: 4.29 and below
  • Slack mobile app: 23.02.40 and below
  • Browsers: Chrome 111; Firefox 110; Edge 109 and below.

Apart from that, it is recommended to upgrade the following operating systems to a newer version, even if they for the moment will work with an upgraded app or web browser.

  • Linux OS: Ubuntu 18.04
  • Windows OS: Windows 10 Version 20H2.
