Well-attended seminar to celebrate World Water Day

To celebrate World Water Day, six experts from WaterCentre@KTH and KTH Climate Action Centre gathered on 21 March to answer students’ water-related questions.
Despite the wonderful spring weather, around 40 students were there to meet the researchers and get the chance to ask questions. It wasn’t just questions about the research area that were raised – students also enquired about aspects such as the gender balance in the field and the extent of collaboration between researchers. One of the researchers, Professor Carlo Fischione, noted that a seminar like this, where multiple researchers come together, provides an excellent opportunity to establish connections.
Many of the students stayed on afterwards to ask further questions and mingle with the researchers.
The researchers who shared their knowledge with the students were: Associate Professor and Docent Fernando Jaramillo, Stockholm University, Postdoctoral researcher Daniel Adshead, KTH Climate Action Centre, Associate professor Zeynep Cetecioglu-Gurol, WaterCentre@KTH circular research theme leader, Professor Carlo Fischione, WaterCentre@KTH, Professor Joydeep Dutta, WaterCentre@KTH and Doctor Jean-Baptiste Thomas, WaterCentre@KTH.
