On 5 September, join us for a lunch seminar with Brigita Dejus, a senior researcher on water-based epidemiology with a PhD from Riga Technical University and KTH Royal Institute of Technology.

The seminar will focus on two key topics - the current situation in water-based epidemiology (WBE), specifically in Latvia, and the onboarding presentation for the European Commission's (EC) mission to restore ocean and waters. Starting with the first topic, Dejus will provide insights and updates on the latest developments in water-based epidemiology in Latvia. As an active researcher in this field, Dejus will share her understanding of the challenges and opportunities in studying WBE. Following this, the discussion will shift to the EC mission to restore the ocean and waters. Dejus, as a mission board member, will provide information on the Mission goals, strategies, and ongoing activities.

Sign up by 29 August for the seminar and a light lunch. We look forward to seeing you there!
