Deepened collaboration with City of Stockholm around water, infrastructure and digitalisation

The City of Stockholm will finance an industrial doctoral student at KTH in digitalisation and sustainable infrastructure. This is an important step to deepen the collaborative efforts between the city and KTH. The collaborative arrangement has been worked out between Stockholms Stadshus AB - the holding company of the city’s many utility companies – and the WaterCentre@KTH.

The focus of the doctoral project will be on challenges and opportunities of digitalisation in infrastructure services, with an initial focus on water in the city. The project will be co-ordinated by WaterCentre@KTH in close collaboration with e.g. Stockholm Water and Waste AB, Stokab, Globe Arena fastigheter AB and Ports of Stockholm. The project is planned to start 2018.
